This hotel is a hidden gem in a fabulous neighborhood. The location is unbeatable, just a block from the iconic beach in Ipanema. The staff is attentive and friendly, going above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. The breakfast is a delightful surprise, with a wide variety of delicious options to start your day. And the best part? All of this at an incredibly affordable price.
The only aspect that could be improved is the noise level from the air conditioner in the rooms.

The location of the hotel is excelent, just one block from Ipanama beach. Breakfast served in top floor makes you to spot Rio at once. The hotel staff was very friendly, English speaking and helpfull
The room we had was small and darker. The location makes the prices high.

The staff were very friendly and tried very hard to make my stay a pleasant one despite their limited English. I would stay at this hotel again. I would particularly like to thank Wagner, Mario, and the guy working in the breakfast area who made my stay at this hotel enjoyable.
The decor in the hotel and rooms were dated and in need of upgrading. The toaster caught fire in the breakfast restaurant and still hadn't been replaced 3 days after the fact. Only two of the front desk folks could speak English and unfortunately my Portuguese phrase book was limited and presented a challenge. Upon my return to Canada I had learned a friend of mine along with my mother called the hotel to speak to me and were hung up on by someone working the front desk.

During my Christmas stay, I enjoyed the excellent location just steps away from the beach. It was incredibly convenient to have the beach so close, and I appreciated that the hotel provided beach umbrellas for guests. The proximity to restaurants, bars, and shops was also a major plus, making it easy to explore the area and find a variety of dining options. the free Wi-Fi provided by the hotel was reliable and allowed me to stay connected throughout my stay.
There was no indication of the price beforehand, and I felt as though the hotel had the ability to charge whatever they wanted. It would have been helpful to have the prices and tour details clearly stated so that guests could make informed decisions.

The location was great. I liked being so close to the beach that I could easily go for a jog in the morning hours. Lots of good walking and eating nearby.
I wish the internet access was easier and that there was a US news channel on the television.

The hotel offers great value for money, with prices that are reasonable for the area. The attention to detail is evident in the basic amenities provided, including breakfast, which is included in the rate. The staff are friendly and attentive, ensuring a pleasant stay. The location is ideal, close to the beautiful Ipanema beach and the best shopping area of the neighborhood.
One aspect that could be improved is the air conditioning, which can be excessively noisy in some of the rooms.

Helpful staff, friendly and spoke good English.
The noisy air-conditioning and the very thin towels. Room designated as luxurious but far from it.

Spent Christmas in a hotel in Rio and the experience was great! the breakfast was scrumptious, the rooms were cozy and clean, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. the hotel's location was key to everything, with easy access to nearby restaurants and shopping centers. One best aspect was the stunning view of the city from the hotel's rooftop pool area.
The outdated building and facilities, which could use some updating. Beyond that, the hotel provided a great experience that made my Christmas stay in Rio unforgettable!

They offered a delicious breakfast buffet every morning. The location was excellent (a half block from Ipanema beach). The room was cleaned beautifully by housekeeping every day. The room, though facing the street, had a balcony with a view of the ocean.
My bed was two twin beds pushed together -- they kept moving apart as I slept. The Wifi, though free, rarely worked. The decor was desperately in need of an updating/revision. Calling the front desk from my room often resulted in a busy signal or no response at all.
